I am New
9 times in the New Testament the word new is used to describe us after we have surrendered our lives to Jesus.
7 times in the New Testament and 1 time in the Old Testament the word new is used to describe the covenant we have with the Father through Jesus.
New: recently come into existence; having been in a relationship or condition but a short time
Ephesians 4:17 – Don’t live in the old
The Old: Ephesians 4:18-19

_________ in emotions
________in pursuits
This is the old way of life and we have been made new and don’t have to live that way any longer.
The New: Ephesians 4:20-24
We are new in the way we ________ to Jesus
We have ________ the old self
We have ________ the new self

Salvation is not just going to heaven.
Salvation is also being made new.
