Persevere in Jesus
Hebrews 6:1-12
- Persevere in Growth (v. 1-3)
“Go on to maturity” is what verse 1 says. How does a believer do that?
Prayer
Dig deeper into God’s truth
Apply that truth to your life
Help others grow in the truth
- Persevere in Faith (v. 4-8)
Let’s look at what the Bible does say about our security in Jesus . . .
John 6:37-39
John 10:27-28
Romans 8:29-30
- Persevere in Assurance (v. 9-12)
“Feel sure of better things”
Many of us struggle with this because we have suffered some sort of abandonment
Many of us know what its like to be loved only if were doing the right things
God’s love is not performance based and God’s love is not for a limited time
