I am Reconciled
Reconciled: to make friends again
Colossians 1:21-22 (NLT)
We were far away
We were enemies
We were separated from God
Why We Needed to be Reconciled: Ephesians 2:11-12 (ESV)
Gentiles in the Flesh
Uncircumcised – Colossians 2:11 (CSB)
Separated from Jesus
Alienated from the Commonwealth of Israel
Strangers to the Covenant of Promise – 2 Corinthians 7:1 (NIV)
Having No Hope – Romans 5:5 (ESV)
Without God in the World
What Reconciliation Does: Ephesians 2:13-14, 19 (ESV)
Before Jesus We Who Were Far Off Have Been Brought Nearby Jesus’ Blood
By His blood we have access to the Father
By His blood we have fellowship with each other and cleaning from sin
1 John 1:7 (ESV)
Before Jesus were are war with God and new we have peace with God
Romans 5:1 (ESV)
Before Jesus we were in disunity and now we have unity
1 Peter 3:8 (ESV)
Before Jesus were strangers and aliens and now we are fellow citizens and members of God’s family

Reconciled to God
Reconciled to Peace

Reconciled to the Filling of the Holy Spirit

God has provided reconciliation for us to Himself through the cross
Our part is to completely surrender the authority to direct our lives over to Jesus
In reconciling us He has made us the
Body of Christ
Family of God
Temple of the Holy Spirit
